Abstract:

We evaluate the precision of the Nadaraja-Watson estimates in relation to the space dimension, the astatic order of the locality function, and a parameter characterizing a class of a function approximated. In the Euclidean space, we obtain formulas for the calculation of astatic potential functions of an arbitrary order. Some numerical results are presented.
