Conditions for the Limit Cycle Existence in a System with Hysteresis

Abstract:
In this paper a two-dimensional automatic control system
with a single nonlinear hysteresis element of a rather general form
is considered. The phase space of the system is described. Under certain
limitations on the right part of a system the conditions
for the existence and absence of a limit cycle
are obtained via Lyapunov's second method.
